Seasons is a quaint, conservative blog where I write about a number of things - my faith, life, books, writing, and really anything I feel like posting about at the moment! XD

I am a Christian teenager who enjoys music, reading, writing (emails, short stories, my current WIP, etc.), blogging, photography, and any animal I can get my hands on! XD I also enjoy windy summer days, the color rose gold, kittens, going barefoot, macrame, and spending time on our farm with our barn cats!

As I said above, my family and I live on a small hobby farm in the United States, and are looking forward to expanding our farm in the coming months. I enjoy taking walks around our property in spring to look for flowers to photograph or to make a bouquet for my room.

I have been playing violin for about two years, and music is a big part of my life. You can often find me humming a hymn or playing my violin. I appreciate good music and talented singers, and although I'd NEVER sing in front of anyone (except my family), I'd love an opportunity to play my violin at our church!

 

Because this is an about me page I have to mention my love for reading.

 Some of my favorite books (series) are The Wingfeather Saga (by Andrew Peterson), the Green Ember series (by S.D Smith), The Mysterious Benedict Society (by Trenton Lee Stewart), and The Penderwicks (by Jeanne Birdsall).

Writing is another love of mine... Working on my current fiction novel, a story based on the Bible is sometimes challenging, but also very rewarding. I love encouraging fellow young writers to stay consistent, start small and grow! I think blogging is a great way to begin as a young writer, and that's what I'm doing here on Fiddling on the Farm!

- Pizza and hamburgers are my favorite foods

 
- When I was 6 years old, I memorized the alphabet backwards  

 

- I used to have 2 pet rats

- I am a HUGE fan of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, although I've never read the books ( I hope to soon...)

- I collect notebooks and journals (although I usually don't know what to use them for!)

- Randy Travis is my favorite country singer, and Keith and Kristen Getty are my favorite Gospel singers

- My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13 ~ "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
